Veterinary Assistant
Debbie Sabot
Debbie started working at Gentle Care Animal Hospital in April 2007. She studied Animal Science at UT Martin, choosing veterinary technician as her career. Her first job in a veterinary hospital was in 1986. She has worked in every area in a veterinary hospital, from the kennel areas, to vet tech, to becoming a receptionist. Debbie is also in charge of inventory control. Semen freezes, dental and cesarean sections are some of her major interests in our hospital. She also enjoys working with surgery and sick patient recovery.
Debbie has one daughter, Mallory, who also works in animal health. Most of her spare time is spent with her two grandchildren, Cheyenne and Knox. They like to shop, go to the zoo, and paint together. Debbie also likes crafts and rehabbing furniture.
The most important fur baby in her life is Allie. Allie is an American bully and is four years young. Debbie got Allie as a six-week-old puppy and later found out she is deaf. Allie is very entertaining, loves everyone she meets, and enjoys coming to the hospital to visit.
